A book club gathers individuals with a passion for reading and discussing literature. Members typically choose a book to read in advance and then meet regularly to share their thoughts, insights, and feelings about the narrative, themes, and characters. These discussions can foster a deeper understanding and appreciation of the text and provide a social outlet for like-minded individuals. Book clubs can vary in size and structure, from formal setups with rules and schedules to casual gatherings over coffee. They often explore various genres, facilitating diverse conversations that can enrich the reading experience.
The suggested donation is $10 for each meeting and refreshments will be provided.
On Thursday, January 30, 2025, Soul Voyage has the wonderful opportunity to establish its first Book Club gathering with the support of Carol A. Parker, Author, who will join us as we read her latest publication, The Fish Dress. Books are available by advance sales via this Amazon link or at this Book Club’s first meeting for $13 or an author-signed copy, for $13.
